Technician of the Year Award Program

The Technician of the Year Award program is designed to acknowledge an outstanding technician or an HD machinist who exemplifies the best qualities of the commercial vehicle maintenance profession. Bendix, DPI, Haldex, and SKF created the program in 2005, and value the award as an industry standard to recognize vehicle maintenance professionals for taking part in the industry’s latest, best practices, technologies and safety initiatives. MAHLE Clevite recently joined the four original sponsors for the 2008 season.

How it Works

Fleet managers may nominate a technician until December 31, 2008, by completing the online nomination form or by requesting one via email. Following the nomination deadline, a panel of independent judges from various heavy duty industry organizations will chose a winner from the pool of applications.
